Professor Lee Hae-jun is currently the professor at the ERICA Campus’ Department of Dance and Performing Arts as well as the 14th President of the Contemporary Dance Association of Korea. In 1993, he received the ‘Men General Area Gold Medal’ at the 23rd Dong-A Dance Concours, and, in 1995, he received the “Rookie of the Year Award” from the Contemporary Dance Association of Korea, working as a contemporary dancer.

He also received the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Seo-hoon “Today’s Young Artist” award and the 2005 Award Certificate from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, being acknowledged as a competent choreographer. He also worked as the director of the Contemporary Dance Association of Korea in 2014, while also being the vice-president of Contemporary Dance Association of Korea and MODAFE Head of Operation. In 2018, he was awarded the Conapass Award from the Contemporary Dance Association of Korea as an acknowledgment of his hard work.

Professor Lee Hae-jun, from the Department of Dance and Performing Arts, was awarded the Performing Arts Grand Prize at the 2021 Korean Society of Dance Studies General Assembly.

Professor Lee served as the director for MODAFE 2021. The Contemporary Dance Association of Korea is an institution that works for the development of Korean dance arts and active international exchange.
